Undercover detectives in Florida had been behind a significant playing sting in Polk County lately that resulted in 28 arrests and the seizure of $100,971, firearms, and 48 playing machines.
Following up on a tip about unlawful machines at an Auburndale retailer named by the Polk County Sheriff’s Workplace (PCSO) as A-1 Low cost Beverage, detectives reported discovering the machines “within the again rooms.”
The invention prompted Operation Dangerous Odds, with the PSCO taking to X report Wednesday’s arrests:
